Norwich University computer security program supports cybersecurity at Super Bowl 50
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University computer security and information assurance (CSIA) program, with students operating both onsite in California and on campus, will support Santa Clara Police Department, the lead law enforcement agency at Super Bowl 50, and the law enforcement and homeland security functions leading up to and during this international sporting event.​ Click here for the full article.
Nisid Hajari Wins 2016 Colby Award for Best Military Book
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Nisid Hajari has won the 2016 William E. Colby Award for his book, “Midnight’s Furies: The Deadly Legacy of India’s Partition.” Now in its 17th year, the Colby prize is awarded annually by Norwich University to a first-time author in recognition of a work of fiction or non-fiction that has made a major contribution to the understanding of military history, intelligence operations or international affairs.

Hajari oversees Asia coverage for Bloomberg View, the editorial page of Bloomberg News. He writes editorials on Asian politics and economics and edits Bloomberg's opinion columns and commentary from the region. “Midnight’s Furies,” his first book, has been named one of the best books of 2015 by NPR, Quartz, the Daily Beast, the Seattle Times, and Amazon. Architecture + Art’s Lecture Series continues with “Designing Your Future: Creating Value in Your Career”
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University’s School of Architecture + Art presents “Designing Your Future: Creating Value in Your Career,” with Harry Falconer, Director of Experience and Education for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). 

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at noon in the Chaplin Hall Gallery. Falconer will discuss the process of becoming a licensed architect, which involves completing a thorough Intern Development Program (IDP) designed to expand the range of student experiences. Norwich University welcomes Fulbright scholar in Peace and War studies
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University welcomes David Last, PhD, as a Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in the Peace and War Center this semester.

The program between Norwich University and the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the US establishes a Fulbright Visiting Research Chair at Norwich University to focus on research pertaining to military and diplomatic affairs. Click here for the full article.
