Every spring and summer NU golfers gather for tournaments and golf outings all across the country. Check out the tournaments all Norwich golfers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a day on the links!

Calling All Norwich Skiers & Riders!

Every year, Norwich skiers and riders from throughout the country have the chance to get together for full days of skiing, socializing and fun. NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University will participate in celebrating the 99th anniversary of Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and Junior ROTC (JROTC) by hosting a 5K fun run event on Saturday, April 25. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. at Shapiro Field House for the race’s 12 p.m. start time.

The race is part of a global effort by JROTC to break the Guinness World Record for the “most participants in a 5K run at multiple locations” to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Click here to read more.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Writers Series continues with Iraq War veteran and memoirist, Kayla Williams, author of “Plenty of Time When We Get Home: Love & Recovery in the Aftermath of War” (2014) and “Love My Rifle More than You: Young & Female in the U.S. Army” (2006). Norwich Writers Series Hosts Storied Poet Ellen Bryant Voigt
The National Book Award Finalist and former Vermont state poet will kickoff a month-long poetry celebration on campus

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Writers Series, PoemCampus, and Vermont Humanities are honored to welcome poet Ellen Bryant Voigt to the Norwich campus on Wednesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. Voigt will read from her work to help Norwich kickoff its PoemCampus celebration, a month-long celebration of poetry across the Norwich University campus during the month of April, National Poetry Month, organized by NU faculty and students. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum curator to speak at Norwich about President Lincoln’s Balloon Corps
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University’s Sullivan Museum and History Center, the state’s only Smithsonian Affiliate, will host Dr. Tom Crouch, Senior Curator of Aeronautics at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum for a lunch-and-learn on Wednesday, April 8 at noon in Milano Ballroom, located in Roberts Hall. Norwich to hold 20th annual military writers’ symposium
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University will host the 2015 William E. Colby Military Writers’ Symposium on Wednesday and Thursday, April 8-9, hosting Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Philip Caputo, among other literary luminaries.

The symposium, which is free and open to the public and marks its 20th anniversary this year, celebrates the best in military writing, books and ideas. Click here to read more.
