Each of the five years in our countdown to 2019 will have a theme that allows us to tell Norwich’s unique story and engage the Norwich family in significant and meaningful ways. What a weekend! Approximately 2,500 alumni and friends were on the Hill for four days of festivities that included the launch of Norwich’s countdown to the Bicentennial and dozens of Homecoming activities. Click here to read more.

We will be honoring classes ending in ‘4’ and ‘9’, you won’t want to miss this spectacular beginning to the once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Norwich’s rich legacy and promising future as we kick off our bicentennial celebration. Click here for more information

Anyone interested in taking a leadership role in organizing the NU Boston Chapter is encouraged to attend. The meeting portion (6:00-7:15 PM) will be followed by social time so bring your business card and ideas. Complimentary first drink and Union Oyster House Chowder.

LEGACY OF LEARNING – BOSTON

Please join us for the third Legacy of Learning Event, hosted by NU Alumni Association. This will be a panel discussion on increasing cooperation between architects, engineers and construction management, followed by a networking social.

WHEN: Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Time: Registration 5:00PM, Panel Discussion 5:30 – 7:00PM, Reception 7:00-8:00PM

WHERE: The newly constructed Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital at the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston. The building itself will also be a topic for discussion during the presentations. It is LEED Gold certified and was designed with an emphasis on survivability.

COST: $20, Free for current students.

Colin L. Powell will observe Veterans Day at Norwich University as part of the Todd Lecture Series
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Former U.S. Secretary of State and retired four-star U.S. Army general Colin L. Powell will observe Veterans Day at Norwich University and deliver the Fall 2014 Todd Lecture Series talk on campus at 7 p.m. in Shapiro Field House.

Both Tuesday, Nov. 11 events are free and open to the public.

Distinguished by his public service over the course of his 50-year career, Powell has held senior military and diplomatic positions across four presidential administrations. Click here to read more.
