Every spring and summer NU golfers gather for tournaments and golf outings all across the country. Check out the tournaments all Norwich golfers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a day on the links!

Every year, Norwich skiers and riders from throughout the country have the chance to get together for full days of skiing, socializing and fun. NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University will host documentary filmmaker Ben Kalina and screen his 2014 Sundance Film Festival winning documentary on climate change and coastal communities, “Shored Up: When Human Nature and the Force of Nature Collide,” on Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m. Click here to read more.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University officials will dedicate the west end of Sabine Field as Pond Plaza in honor of Dr. Erasmus Arlington “Arlie” Pond during a ceremony to be held on Thursday, April 23, during the annual April meeting of the university’s board of trustees. The memorial is made possible by the generosity of the Tawani Foundation. Click here to read more.
Forging the Future video now available
President Schneider, members of the Board of Trustees and staff recently completed a six-month, 25-city road trip to launch Forging the Future, the bicentennial campaign and commemoration. Over 4,000 alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends of Norwich attended these events. A special part of the program was the screening of the Forging the Future video. If you did not see the presentation at one of this year’s events (or if you did and want to view it again) the video is now available on the Bicentennial website to view and share.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University will participate in celebrating the 99th anniversary of Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and Junior ROTC (JROTC) by hosting a 5K fun run event on Saturday, April 25. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. at Shapiro Field House for the race’s 12 p.m. start time.

The race is part of a global effort by JROTC to break the Guinness World Record for the “most participants in a 5K run at multiple locations” to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Click here to read more.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Writers Series continues with Iraq War veteran and memoirist, Kayla Williams, author of “Plenty of Time When We Get Home: Love & Recovery in the Aftermath of War” (2014) and “Love My Rifle More than You: Young & Female in the U.S. Army” (2006). Norwich Writers Series Hosts Storied Poet Ellen Bryant Voigt
The National Book Award Finalist and former Vermont state poet will kickoff a month-long poetry celebration on campus

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Writers Series, PoemCampus, and Vermont Humanities are honored to welcome poet Ellen Bryant Voigt to the Norwich campus on Wednesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. Voigt will read from her work to help Norwich kickoff its PoemCampus celebration, a month-long celebration of poetry across the Norwich University campus during the month of April, National Poetry Month, organized by NU faculty and students.
