Every spring and summer NU golfers gather for tournaments and golf outings all across the country. Check out the tournaments all Norwich golfers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a day on the links!

Every year, Norwich skiers and riders from throughout the country have the chance to get together for full days of skiing, socializing and fun. These days on the slopes, though, are not limited to local alumni! If you love Norwich and love to ski (or ride) these events are for you!  Click here for more information.

Norwich Writers Series Hosts Storied Poet Ellen Bryant Voigt
The National Book Award Finalist and former Vermont state poet will kickoff a month-long poetry celebration on campus

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Writers Series, PoemCampus, and Vermont Humanities are honored to welcome poet Ellen Bryant Voigt to the Norwich campus on Wednesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. Voigt will read from her work to help Norwich kickoff its PoemCampus celebration, a month-long celebration of poetry across the Norwich University campus during the month of April, National Poetry Month, organized by NU faculty and students. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum curator to speak at Norwich about President Lincoln’s Balloon Corps
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University’s Sullivan Museum and History Center, the state’s only Smithsonian Affiliate, will host Dr. Tom Crouch, Senior Curator of Aeronautics at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum for a lunch-and-learn on Wednesday, April 8 at noon in Milano Ballroom, located in Roberts Hall. Norwich to hold 20th annual military writers’ symposium
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University will host the 2015 William E. Colby Military Writers’ Symposium on Wednesday and Thursday, April 8-9, hosting Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Philip Caputo, among other literary luminaries.

The symposium, which is free and open to the public and marks its 20th anniversary this year, celebrates the best in military writing, books and ideas. Click here to read more.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The online Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance program at Norwich University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies ranks seventh in a recent report compiled by TheBestSchools.org on “The 25 Best Online Master of Information Assurance and Security Degree Programs.” The selection was based on several factors, including academic excellence, course offerings, faculty strengths and reputation. NORTHFIELD, Vt. –Norwich University’s biannual blood drive organized in conjunction with the American Red Cross collected 343 pints of life-saving blood on Thursday, Feb. 26, achieving its stated goal of 343 pints.

The campus event hosted 308 donors, 82 of them first-time donors. In all, 343 pints of blood were collected, including 74 double red cell procedures. The latter process uses a machine enabling volunteers to donate twice the amount of red blood cells of a normal blood donation. The goal of 343 pints of blood was derived as an average of the last three February blood drives, and organizers were pleased to achieve the target exactly. Click here to read more.
