Every spring and summer NU golfers gather for tournaments and golf outings all across the country. Check out the tournaments all Norwich golfers are encouraged to come out and enjoy a day on the links!

Every year, Norwich skiers and riders from throughout the country have the chance to get together for full days of skiing, socializing and fun. NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University’s Assistant Vice President for International Education David Clubb has been awarded a grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to participate in the week-long conference, “Germany Today 2015: Institutions of Higher Education and their Internationalization Strategies,” from June 14-20 in Frankfurt, Berlin, and Dresden. Norwich University celebrated Commencement and Commissioning this weekend
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University celebrated commencement and commissioning with ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday, May 9-10, in Shapiro Field House.

At a 2 p. m. ceremony on Saturday, former U.S. Senator Elizabeth Dole delivered the 2015 commencement address to over 400 seniors graduating from 31 majors. The Class of 2015 is comprised of 264 students in the Corps of Cadets and 168 civilian students. Click here for more.
Norwich University’s new residence hall to be named Dalrymple Hall
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich officials announced that they will name the university’s newly constructed, $23.2 million civilian student residence hall Dalrymple Hall in honor of current university trustee Peter Dalrymple ’65 and his wife Marlene ‘66, of Houston, Texas, in recognition of their lifetime of philanthropy to the university.

The modern, energy efficient residence located next to South Hall, opened in Fall 2014 as the second of a three-building plan to house civilian students on campus. With 182 bedrooms, Dalrymple Hall has capacity for 285 occupants. Click here to read more.

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – A team of Norwich University students was recognized by the New England Office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at this year’s Earth Day ceremony in Boston with a 2015 Environmental Merit Award.

The four alumni and two professors present to receive the award helped design and build Norwich’s Delta T-90, the 2013 solar house that won the affordability category at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon in Irvine, Calif. Click here to read more.
Norwich University Commencement: Marine General to Speak at ROTC Commissioning Ceremony
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University’s graduating future officers will hear remarks from a fellow alum at this spring’s joint services commissioning ceremony. Brigadier General Raymond R. Descheneaux ’87, United States Marine Corps Reserve, Assistant Deputy Commandant for Aviation (Mobilization), returns to the Norwich campus to speak to ROTC commissioning officers during a formal ceremony to mark the occasion on Sunday, May 10 at 9 a.m.

Descheneaux will speak about the value of Norwich leadership in its unique setting, which embraces all four ROTC branches plus civilian students. Click here to read more.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University has received a grant for $55,675 from the National Science Foundation, with support from the National Security Agency, to lead a weeklong summer camp on cybersecurity for rising high school juniors and seniors. Dubbed GenCyber@NU, the comprehensive program is free to all participants and will be taught by standout Norwich faculty and alumni. Click here to read more.
