Canned FoodWhile it's not unusual for folks to pitch in and help out the Vermont Foodbank with food drives around the holidays, for the past few years Norwich University's cadet members of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) have solicited donations in an untraditional manner that came natural enough to them: cadets spent four hours doing five push-ups for each food donation made.

NU's Traditional Cultural Celebration
NU Day of the Dead AltarOn Friday, Nov. 2, the Kreitzberg Library multipurpose room transformed into a cultural extravaganza as students, faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the afterlife and honor loved ones who've passed by observing the Mexican holiday, El Dia de los Muertos, The Day of the Dead.

Norwich receives $1 million gift to fund lecture series
It was announced on November 5th that former NU Trustee John Drew and his wife Ellen are donating one million dollars to Norwich to fund a lecture series aimed at drawing top-shelf speakers to campus.
