I Can't Remember My Constituent ID! What the Heck is a "Constituent ID", Anyway?
Don't worry, the Alumni Office can help! Your Constituent ID is just a random number assigned to you as a member of the Norwich family, so everyone has a unique identifier. This makes it easy to keep people who have the same name clearly separate (are you Mike Jones '99 or the Mike Jones '89 who lives in Florida?) without revealing secure information such as a Social Security number. The Constituent ID starts with the letter A (so it is also referred to as your "A Number") and can be used to establish your account on the Online Community. We include it for your convenience in some of our emails to you, but it can also be obtained through the Alumni Office. And, because you only need your ID number once to establish your account, you don't have to worry about memorizing it! You can choose your own username and password that work for you. If you ever have questions about the Online Community, or would like help from a real live person, contact us at alumni@norwich.edu or call toll-free at 877-485-2019.

MDY seminar examines human-rights issues When human-rights violations involve numerous cultures, nations and interests, determining who is in charge and who is to blame are far from black-and-white matters. Human Rights and Conflict in the International System, a new Norwich University graduate-level seminar, gives students the tools to resolve this type of conflict. "It can be very difficult to understand what...the right thing is, when there are two or three or four different things that you can do," Norwich History Professor Rowly Brucken said. "My role was not to necessarily teach facts, but teach a way of thinking about how to apply human-rights laws to the real world." Continued at www.graduate.norwich.edu...

MJA instructor sees no drawbacks to online education Professor Frank Colaprete is proving that online education is no hindrance to a vibrant academic experience. Colaprete, who has been a professor in Norwich's Master of Justice Administration program since 2005, works hard to distinguish himself and his students in the field of online education. "The intensity of the online program is 10 times more than an onsite program," he said. "There is far more work for the student and the professor." Continued at www.graduate.norwich.edu... |
