Stanley E. Grittner passed away Dec. 21, 2008 in Tekoa. Stan was born to Bill and Beula Grittner March 24, 1930 in Colville. After retiring from a career in the U.S Army, Stan and his wife, Betty, moved to Vermont where Stan worked in Customs for many years. Stan was a civilian student while at Norwich. He moved to Colville in 2006 to be closer to family. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers. Stan is survived by his brothers, Ken, Colville; Kent, Spokane; sisters, Lyola, Chewelah; Janie, Kennewick; Kay and Kathy, Colville; and Rita, Coulee Dam.

Patrick J. O'Malley, 53, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Randolph, MA, died unexpectedly on June 22, 2008.
He was the beloved husband of Tia Rome-O'Malley and dear son of Jean M. O'Malley of Randolph and the late Patrick J. O'Malley. He was the devoted brother of Stephen P. O'Malley of Bridgewater, MA, Thomas M. O'Malley of North Attleboro, MA, Mark R. O'Malley of Easton, MA, and Kathleen M. Goodwin of South Yarmouth, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pat was a graduate of Randolph High School and then went on to receive his BS in Business Administration in Accounting from Norwich. While at Norwich, Pat played on the Norwich Hockey Team.
