Lawrence Dansky, 55, of Sunrise, Fla., died August 17, 2006. Lawrence Dansky, 55, of Sunrise, Fla., passed away August 17, 2006. During his time at Norwich, he was a member of the Yearbook Staff, WNUB Radio, and the Norwich Chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Larry graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. No further information is available.
John C. Hauck, 60, of Chippewa, Pa., died April 20, 2006. John was born Aug. 5, 1945, in Danville, he was a son of the late Marlin and Clara Savery Hauck. John graduated from Norwich with honors and was awarded the Alexander W. Luce Prize for Excellence by the Mechanical Engineering Department. A Vietnam veteran having served with the Army Corps of Engineers, he was a recipient of the Bronze Star with V Device, Bronze Star for Meritorious Service, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnamese Technical Medal First Class.
He was employed as an engineer for the Bayer Corp., Pittsburgh. He was a member of Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Church, Chippewa Township; American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE); and Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC). He was elected to the Steel Structures Painting Council Board of Governors and its Executive Committee in 1987. He received the Outstanding Publication Award from the Steel Structures Painting Council in 1986 and had an article published in the Journal of Protective Coatings and Linings in March 1988, ""Chemical Plant Painting: One Total Approach."" He was an avid deer and turkey hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Martha ""Marty"" Hudelson Hauck; two sons: Steven K. Hauck and David J. Hauck; three grandchildren: Morgan Hauck, Michael Hauck and Catherine Hauck; a sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Jack Burlingame; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Jill Hudelson.

William "Rip" Hoffman, 56, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died June 15, 2007. During his time at Norwich, Bill was member of the Track team, Chameleon, Fencing team, Intramurals, Association of US Army, and the WNUB Radio. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen A.; sons, Dustyn M. and Scott T. of Las Vegas; a sister, Joyce Cole of Port Charlotte; a brother, Jack of Port Charlotte; his parents, C. William and Joyce of Port Charlotte; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Sean in 2004. No further information is available.

William "Bill" Scott, 58, of Bow, NH, died May 6, 2008, in Jacksonville, Fla.He was born on March 30, 1950, in Hanover, the son of Glyda (Brown) Scott of Bow and the late Reginald R. Scott. He was raised and educated in Bow and Concord. He graduated from Norwich University in Vermont in 1972.
Bill worked as an engineer. He retired from his own business, Scott Engineering in Burlington, Vt. Bill was a member of the Vermont Professional Engineering Society.
He was an Eagle Scout. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing and sailing. He was the captain of his boat the Wave Dancer, which he sailed along the East Coast on many occasions.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister, Deborah Buyer of Concord; nephews, Jonathan Buyer and Christopher Buyer; and several cousins
