The NU Club of Rhode Island is the central gathering point for all Norwich alumni, students, friends and family who live in Rhode Island. Alumni who live in southern Massachusetts are also welcome to join us!

The NU Club of Rhode Island had the pleasure of watching the NU women’s hockey team handily defeat the Nichols College team at the Levy Rink in Burrillville, RI in early February. We had a nice gathering of around 10 alums and families and had a great time. Everyone in attendance were impressed the women’s hockey program, both on and off the ice. On the ice, the team played a great game with plenty of pretty passing and hard work and discipline at both ends of the ice. After the game we had the pleasure of meeting Coach Bolding and several of the players and coaches. They were very gracious with their time even though they were facing the long four hour ride back to Northfield. It is amazing how far the program has come in a very short time, which is a tribute to the hard work of Coach Bolding and his staff. After cheering the team on and meeting with them we enjoyed a great meal and swapped Norwich stories at Gator’s Pub. We are looking forward to getting together more often!
