 Thank you for checking in with one of the newest NU Clubs in Florida! This club serves the 90 or so alumni, students and friends of Norwich who call Brevard County home. Walt and Bonnie Bleiler '62 are Club Officers and often open up their home in Melbourne for club events. We plan several events a year and hope to see you at one of them soon!

 We held our annual Brevard Holiday Alumni Get Together at the home of Jim and Penny Gilles ‘69 on Saturday December 13th. Their home is beautifully remodeled home and located right here at the Indian River Colony Club (IRCC). We enjoyed a social hour followed by a delicious dinner. Swapping stories of our days on the Hill brought back memories made sweeter by the passing of time. Everyone was looking forward to our third annual Brevard Alumni Golf Outing on March 21, 2009 here at IRCC.

On Saturday, April 12 alumni, spouses and friends from throughout the area gathered at the Indian River Colony Club for a day of golf, food and friendship. Check out the photo album on the right for pictures of the day!

Bonnie and I hosted a Brevard Norwich Alumni Holiday Party at our home at the Indian River Colony Club (IRCC) , Melbourne, FL on December 15, 2007. Attending were George Valhouli (62), Bob & Charlotte Lavette (57), Jim & Penny Gillis (69), Steve and Penny Lockwood (63), Stephen Cooley (78), Gordon & Marilyn Shepardson (57), and of course Walter & Bonnie Bleiler (62). We kicked off the evening's event with a social hour where we all enjoyed a cup of Gluhwein (hot spiced German red wine) or a cup of cranberry punch followed by a great dinner prepared by Bonnie.
We all had a great time reminiscing about our days at Norwich, time spent in the military and what we are doing now. We also discussed our upcoming Golf event to be held at IRCC on April 12, 2008 for all Florida Alumni. We also passed out Norwich memorabilia to everyone.
