More about the NU Visions Abroad Program:
Norwich University’s NU VISIONS Abroad Program has taken over 90 students to countries around the world for a service-learning adventure since 2004. Their most recent 3-year partnership with a community in rural Thailand has been the best yet, culminating with the design and build of a much-needed community kitchen for the village of Pha Chan. However, due to severe flooding in Thailand prior to our last trip during this past winter break, the work is not done and the build’s costs haven’t been fully met. Come learn about this interdisciplinary service-based program, the impact its having on our students, faculty, staff, alums and partnering international communities, and how you, too, can help and be a part of this exciting program!
Special Lodging Offer! Stay at the historic (and Norwich owned!) Hotel Coolidge for a special rate. Norwich alumni, students and friends coming for dinner can stay the night for only $79. Call 1-800-622-1124 and ask for the special Norwich rate!
