 Planned Activities

8:30 am - Kick off the day with a delicious breakfast at the stunning Great Room at the Spruce Camp Base Lodge.  We are going to start our day in style with a warm, cooked-to-order breakfast for all alumni and students attending!  Choose from a delicious variety of warm breakfast sandwiches, omelets, fruit, and baked goods.  Look for the Norwich flag, check in at the Norwich table to let us know you have arrived, get a schedule for the day and grab your breakfast token.

9:30 am - Let's hit the slopes!  Ski (downhill and cross country!), board, sled, snowshoe or explore the lodge.  These are some of the best trails that Vermont has to offer!  And if anyone in your group prefers the warmth of the indoors, there are plenty of beautiful places to explore inside the Stowe Mountain Lodge.

9:30 am - Tour the mountain. Giff Slater '79 will be leading a tour of the mountain and resort.  The tour will depart immediately following breakfast and will give you plenty of time to explore the highlights of the mountain with Giff, and then to enjoy some quality time on the slopes.

12:00 pm - Lunch time!  May we recommend a restaurant?

Spruce Camp Base Lodge  - Several Norwich staff members will be here enjoying delicious sandwiches, hot soups and warm drinks.  Look for the Norwich flag!  Come catch up with us and hear the latest news from the Hill.  This is a moderately priced restaurant.

Octogon Cafe and Gallery - A stunning spot to enjoy a light lunch while taking in not only the unparalleled Vermont scenery, but also the creations of Vermont artists.  This is a great choice if you find yourself at the top of the Quad Lift at lunch time.  This is a moderately priced restaurant.

The Cliff House Restaurant - Stowe Mountain Resorts premiere dining establishment.  Seasonal, local fare is served by Chef Matthew Reeve along with a wonderful assortment of fine wines, cocktails and local beers.  This is a more expensive restaurant - but the views and menu make it worth it!

After lunch enjoy the afternoon with your family and friends on the mountain!  We'll gather again to toast the day at apres-ski!

3:30 pm - Apres Ski at the Great Room at Spruce Camp Base Lodge.  Can you tell we like this spot!  When you see it you'll know why.  The fire will be roaring, the apres-ski menu will be available for purchase and your first drink is on Norwich.  Join us to toast a great day on the slopes!
