I'm an Employer - How Can I Offer Internships to Norwich Students?

An internship can be a great way for you to reach out to Norwich students and provide them with an educational experience they can't get anywhere else. To get started, you can contact the Internship Coordinator, and if you don't already have an established internship program you can also use these basic steps to help define your internship:
  • Develop a position description - define the task, project, or work to be done. We have a template for a position description that some employers have found helpful - contact us for a copy.
  • Define a supervision plan - Provide a supervisor to work with the intern, supervising in a manner that ensures educational value.
  • Outline an application process - Determine the materials you'll require (resume, cover letter, references, etc.) and your timeline.
  • Share your internship with the Internship Coordinator - The Coordinator will apply targeted marketing tactics to recruit the most appropriate students to apply for your internship.


You can also post your internship directly to the Career Compass site for students.
