Norwich University

Sabine Field Project Benefits

The Sabine Field project will benefit the University in multiple ways:

ADMISSIONS:

The new facility will enable Norwich to compete for top student athletes, and its centralized location makes it an ideal venue for regional events statewide, increasing Norwich’s exposure and reputation.

COST EFFECTIVENESS:

By consolidating its athletic fields, thereby reducing overhead on maintaining multiple facilities, Norwich will realize longterm cost savings.

STUDENT LIFE:

Sabine Field will be available to the entire student population year-round, including band, drill team, ROTC, and the Corps.

CAMPUS ENHANCEMENT:

Once completed, Sabine Field will be the capstone of Norwich’s modern athletic complex, on a par with the beautiful Kreitzberg Arena, the newly renovated Andrews Hall, and Doyle Hall.
